BOSTON; USA – On 1 February 2023, the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA)
Senior Procurement Officer gave a lecture on "Supplier Negotiation with an Artificial Intelligence (AI)" at the Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) conference hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Mr. Antonio Ancora, NSPA Senior Procurement Officer and adjunct Professor in Negotiation at the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, introduced the attendees to the most effective and efficient strategies to use autonomous AI negotiating agents versus human negotiators. He was joined by the CEO of Pactum AI, Mr. Martin Rand, who presented his autonomous agent currently applied in real-life negotiations for major corporations such as Walmart and Maersk. To conclude his lecture and demonstrate that Supplier Negotiation with AI is already a reality, Mr Ancora created a supply chain scenario that provided MIT GLOBAL SCALE students with the chance to simulate a negotiation with Pactum's autonomous agent.
