Over fifty participants from 25 Nations and four Agencies (NAHEMA, NAEW, NSPA and OCCAR) attended Plenary Meetings and Action Teams. The participants focused on the update of the NATO Quality Policy (AQAP2000), the development of new NATO Quality standards for maintenance and disposal activities, as well as the improvement of Suppliers' Quality Plans.
NSPA is highly involved in AC/327 WG2, as an active member contributing to the review, update and development of NATO Quality Policies and Standards. Notably, NSPA is the leading body for the development of Quality requirements for disposal activities.
AC/327 WG2 is one of the most active NATO Committees, with a portfolio of one Standardization Agreement (STANAG), 13 Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAPs), four Standardization Recommendations (STANRECs) and 13 Standard Related Documents (SRDs). AC/327 WG2 is a key enabler of the Mutual Government Quality Assurance (GQA) process, which is an essential element of Multinational Armament programs, by providing mutual Quality surveillance services.
