NSPA explores further cooperation opportunities with the Polish Air Forces

On 18 February 2020, NSPA Director of Life Cycle Management, Mr Rudolf Maus and Mr Daniele Cucchi, Aviation Support Programme Manager, travelled to Warsaw (Poland) following an invitation from the Polish Commander of the Air force.

During two days, Mr Maus and Mr Cucchi engaged in several discussions with Major General Jarek Pszczola, Polish Commander of the Air force and his staff. Discussions turned around cooperation opportunities in a number of capability areas where the Polish Air Forces expressed high interest (from concrete systems support, to optimisation measures or training enablement).

The visit allowed other important meetings with members of the Acquisition and In Service Support departments as well as the 4th Air Training Wing in Deblin, commanded by Colonel Jerzy Chojnowski.

"The visit was very well organized and took place in an open and trusted atmosphere. The intense dialog assured a better understanding from the Air Forces side on how NSPA operates and the multiple support opportunities that the Agency can offer, as well as a clear understanding for us of the Polish requirements", explained Mr Maus.

A further exchange covering all identified areas of interest was agreed. This will further strengthen a productive cooperation between the NSPA and the Polish Air Forces.
