Renewal of the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate of NSPA operations in Luxembourg, Hungary and Italy

NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification for its operations in Luxembourg, Hungary and Italy. As the international standard for Quality Management Systems, this certification assures customers that the NSPA business processes consistently meet customer requirements and ensure their satisfaction.

This award is a considerable success for the Agency and continues ISO 9001 certification, particularly as this most recent version incorporated Risk Management, amongst other new requirements. NSPA was the first NATO entity to be certified under the updated ISO 9001:2015 in 2016. Maintaining this level of quality across the Agency over time, and continuing to meet the evolving high ISO standards, is a considerable achievement for NSPA. This reflects positively on the excellent work of our Quality Management, Risk Management, Process Management and Quality Assurance teams and demonstrates the commitment to ensuring the highest standards across all our capabilities and services.

The certification body underlined best practices in many areas such as management planning, communication with customers and operational control at various levels. The auditors also noted the significant improvements made in the Quality Assurance capacity by expanding expertise and support in this area and recognising that Risk Management is an integral process benefitting the organisation and its stakeholders.
