Light Armoured Tactical Vehicle

On the occasion of the Portuguese Army Day Parade on the 28th October 2018, the Army took the opportunity to present the latest addition to its armoured vehicle capability, The VTLB – " VIATURAS TÁTICAS LIGEIRAS BLINDADAS" .

As announced earlier this year, NSPA contracted this 4x4 Light Armoured Tactical Vehicle acquisition project for 139 vehicles in 8 different configurations after a competitive solicitation with company UROVESA in July of this year. This was the first opportunity for the Portuguese Army to physically present this new capability to the general public. Delivery of the serial production vehicles shall commence in 8 months (Aug 2019).
