NATO Airlift Management Programme (NAMP) Programme Manager

Gregory C. Clark

Gregory Clark assumed his duties as NATO Airlift Management Programme Manager on 1 March 2019. He is responsible for the overall management of one of NSPA's Business Units providing support to the multinational Strategic Airlift Capability.

US Air Force Colonel Clark, retired as a Command Pilot with over 8,000 hours of flying experience. He has an extensive background in military aviation, programme management, aircraft maintenance, logistics and international defense co-operation.

Prior to his current position, he was the NATO Airborne Surveillance Systems Programme Manager for the NSPA Life Cycle Management Directorate, responsible for all aspects of the Programme Office, providing direct logistics support to the NATO Airborne Early Warning & Control Force (NAEW&C) and NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance system (AGS).

Colonel Clark has held various command and staff positions during his career; Commander of the E-3A (AWACS) Logistics Wing, E-3A Component, NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force, Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base, Germany; Commander of E-8C (JSTARS) 116th Operations Group, 116th Air Control Wing, Warner-Robins AFB, Georgia and Commander of the Aircrew Training Squadron, NATO E-3A Component. Additionally, he has served staff positions with US Strategic Command, European Command as Chief of the

Office of Defense Cooperation, Bucharest, Romania and Assistant Chief of Staff, Requirements, NAEW&C Force Headquarters, SHAPE, Mons, Belgium.

In 1994, he obtained a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Science from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which compliments his practical experience in the fields of Aircraft System Management, Programme Management, Business Process Management, general management and leadership. Additionally, he attended in residence Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB, Alabama and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, Switzerland.

Together with his wife Shirley, he currently lives in Pápa, Hungary. Their son works and lives in the US. Mr. Clark enjoys skiing and cycling.
